Robert Tregoning is a British author and actor. He studied at the Glasgow Academy of Musical Theatre Arts. Tregoning’s debut picture book, The Dress in the Window, was published by Oxford University Press in 2023. The book is illustrated by Pippa Curnick. Tregoning’s work explores themes of self-expression and acceptance. In 2023, The Dress in the Window was shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize in the Illustrated Books category. Tregoning has also worked as a performer in West End productions, including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Matilda the Musical. His second picture book, The Big Day, illustrated by Stef Murphy, was published by Oxford University Press in 2024.
