Robert Fowke biography

Robert Fowke writes history books for children, including Anglo Saxons in the What They Don’t Tell You About series. The book explains who the Anglo-Saxons were and covers figures and topics including Bede, Harold, place names and days of the week, making it relevant to primary history topics for ages 5–11.

Fowke wrote The Real Ancient Mariner: Pirates and Poesy on the High Sea, a 280-page paperback published on 1 February 2010. The book is a biography of Simon Hatley, the sailor connected with the incident that helped inspire Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s The Rime of the Ancyent Marinere.
