Rob Sears is a writer whose published work includes humour and satirical non-fiction. He is the author of The Beautiful Poetry of Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin: Life Coach, and Choose Your Own Apocalypse with Kim Jong-un & Friends.
With his brother, illustrator Tom Sears, he co-created the illustrated book The Biggest Footprint: Eight Billion Humans. One Clumsy Giant, published by Canongate. The book won the inaugural Children’s Writing on Nature and Conservation prize at the James Cropper Wainwright Prize awards on 7 September 2022.
Sears and Tom Sears also collaborated on A Tree is a Time Machine, published by Laurence King Publishing on 25 September 2025 (ISBN 9781510231207).
