Nick East biography

Nick East is a British author and illustrator known for his work in children’s literature. He has illustrated numerous picture books and collaborated with several well-known authors. Among his most recognised works is the Goodnight Digger series, written by Michelle Robinson, which includes titles such as Goodnight Tractor, Goodnight Spaceman, and Goodnight Santa. These books are published by Puffin.

Nick East is also the creator of the Agent Weasel series, which he both wrote and illustrated. The first book, Agent Weasel and the Fiendish Fox Gang, was published by Hodder Children’s Books in 2019. The series follows the adventures of Agent Weasel and his friends as they solve mysteries in the United Woodlands.

In addition to his own series, East has illustrated the Supertato books by Sue Hendra and Paul Linnet, and the Harry and the Dinosaurs series by Ian Whybrow. His illustrations are characterised by their vibrant colours and engaging characters, appealing to young readers.

Nick East’s background includes working as a museum designer before becoming a full-time illustrator and author.
