Nene Lonergan biography

Nene Lonergan is a Thai/Chinese artist, writer and illustrator who began drawing comic books at the age of seven. After art college she won the Illustration prize at the Irish Institute of Designers’ Graduate Awards in 2023.

Her children’s work includes illustrating Cat Weldon’s early reader series Amelia Cheeseheart Investigates, with titles such as Mummy Mayhem! and Chocolate Cheat. The series presents comic-style mysteries for emerging readers.

Amelia Cheeseheart Investigates: Mummy Mayhem! is listed for ages 5–8 and launched Guppy Books’ Mini Guppy imprint in May 2025.
