Lily Murray is a British author of children’s books, writing both fiction and non-fiction. She studied English Literature at university and has worked in writing and editing children’s literature for over 15 years. Her work includes titles such as Dinosaurium, The Dinosaur Department Store, Hello, Hot Dog!, and A Dress with Pockets. Murray has contributed to the Disney Animated Classics series by adapting stories like Sleeping Beauty and The Little Mermaid.

Her books are published by Frances Lincoln Children’s Books and Templar Books, among others. She frequently collaborates with illustrators such as Jenny Løvlie and Becky Cameron. Murray’s writing combines educational content with imaginative storytelling aimed at engaging young readers.
