Lian Tanner is an Australian author known for her work in children’s and young adult fiction. She has written several series, including the Keepers trilogy, which begins with Museum of Thieves. This book was published by Allen & Unwin in 2010. The trilogy continues with City of Lies and Path of Beasts. Tanner has also written the Hidden series, starting with Icebreaker, and the Rogues trilogy, which includes Accidental Heroes.
Her books have been published in Australia and internationally. Tanner’s writing often features themes of adventure and resilience, with young protagonists navigating complex worlds. She has a background in teaching and has worked in various roles before becoming a full-time writer.
Museum of Thieves was recognised as a Notable Book by the Children’s Book Council of Australia in 2011.
