Laura Durman writes children’s non-fiction about history. Her book Castle Life is a 32-page children’s history title about life in a medieval castle, including social classes, servants, skilled craftspeople, feasting, hygiene, medical care, religion, amusements, children’s activities and punishments.
Castle Life was published in 2013 as part of the Knights and Castles subject area. Other books by Laura Durman in this area include Knights and Siege, both suitable for classroom topics on castles and medieval life.
