K.L. Walther is an American author known for writing contemporary young adult fiction. She is the author of several novels, including If We Were Us, which was published by Sourcebooks Fire in 2020. Walther’s work often explores themes of friendship, identity, and coming of age, set against the backdrop of high school and college life.
Her subsequent novels include The Summer of Broken Rules (Sourcebooks Fire, 2021), which is set on Martha’s Vineyard and centres on family traditions and romance. Walther has also written What Happens After Midnight (Sourcebooks Fire, 2023), a story that follows a group of students during a memorable night at boarding school, and The Summer of Everything (Sourcebooks Fire, 2024).
