Jörg Mühle biography

Jörg Mühle is a German author and illustrator known for his work in children’s literature. He studied at the Hochschule für Gestaltung Offenbach am Main and the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs in Paris. Mühle has illustrated and written several picture books, with a particular focus on engaging young readers through interactive storytelling and simple, expressive artwork.

He is best known for the board book series featuring the character Little Rabbit. The first book in the series, Tickle My Ears, was originally published in Germany and has been translated into English by Gecko Press. The series encourages children to participate in the story by performing actions such as tapping, stroking, or tucking in the character. Other titles in the series include Bathtime for Little Rabbit and Poor Little Rabbit!, also published by Gecko Press.

Mühle’s illustrations are characterised by their clarity and warmth, appealing to very young children and their caregivers. In addition to his own books, he has illustrated works by other authors and contributed to various children’s publishing projects.
