Joerg Muhle biography

Jörg Mühle is a German freelance illustrator and author of children’s books. He was born in Frankfurt am Main in 1973. He studied illustration at the Offenbach School of Design and at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.

Mühle writes and illustrates books for young children, including picture books, junior fiction and board books. His Little Rabbit board-book series uses simple actions for very young readers, such as tapping, clapping, tickling, stroking, tucking in and turning out a light.

Tickle My Ears is a Little Rabbit bedtime board book by Mühle, translated from German by Catherine Chidgey and published by Gecko Press in September 2016. The book has 20 pages and centres on helping Little Rabbit get ready for bed through interactive prompts.

The Little Rabbit series also includes Bathtime for Little Rabbit, Poor Little Rabbit! and Let’s Play, Little Rabbit. Let’s Play, Little Rabbit was published as a 20-page board book on 4 October 2022, with Mühle as both author and illustrator.
