Jessica Courtney-Tickle biography

Jessica Courtney-Tickle is a British illustrator and author known for her work in children’s picture books. She studied at Kingston University, where she completed a degree in Illustration and Animation. Her illustrations are recognised for their vibrant colours and detailed scenes, often bringing to life stories inspired by music and nature.

Courtney-Tickle is the illustrator of the popular series of sound books published by Nosy Crow, including The Story Orchestra: Four Seasons in One Day, The Story Orchestra: The Nutcracker, and The Story Orchestra: Swan Lake. These books introduce young readers to classical music through interactive elements and visual storytelling. She has also illustrated Little Christmas Tree and Counting Birds, among other titles.

In addition to her illustration work, Courtney-Tickle has written and illustrated her own picture books. Her distinctive style and attention to detail have made her books a feature in educational and family settings.
