Jason Wallace is a British author known for his work in children’s and young adult fiction. He attended school in the UK and later moved to Zimbabwe, where he completed his secondary education. Wallace’s experiences in Zimbabwe during a period of significant political and social change have influenced his writing, particularly his debut novel.
His first novel, Out of Shadows, was published by Andersen Press in 2010. The book is set in Zimbabwe in the 1980s and explores themes of identity, loyalty, and the complexities of post-colonial society. Out of Shadows received critical recognition and was awarded the Costa Children’s Book Award in 2010.
