Recommended reading books for primary & secondary aged children in the UK
Jane Riordan is a British children’s writer and editor. She originally trained to be a primary school teacher before moving into children’s publishing.
Riordan has written books using the Winnie-the-Pooh characters. Winnie-the-Pooh Goes to London (illustrated by Mark Burgess) was first published by Egmont in 2018 (ISBN 9781405291323).
Riordan wrote the authorised prequel Winnie-the-Pooh: Once There Was a Bear, illustrated by Mark Burgess in the style of E. H. Shepard. The book was authorised by the estates of A. A. Milne and E. H. Shepard and was published by Farshore (HarperCollins) on 30 September 2021 (ISBN 9780008505486).
