Isabel Minhos Martins biography

Isabel Minhos Martins is a Portuguese author known for her work in children’s literature. She studied at the Lisbon College of Fine Arts. Martins is a co-founder of the Portuguese publishing house Planeta Tangerina, which was established in 1999. Her writing often explores themes relevant to children and families, and she has collaborated with various illustrators, including Madalena Matoso.

Martins has written several picture books that have been published internationally. Her works include When I Was Born, Don’t Cross the Line!, and Where Do We Go When We Disappear?. Many of her books have been translated into multiple languages and have received recognition in the field of children’s publishing.

In 2017, Isabel Minhos Martins was shortlisted for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award.
