Hollie Hughes is a picture book author. Her books include The Famishing Vanishing Mahoosive Mammoth, Princess Swashbuckle, The Girl and the Dinosaur, The Heart of a Giant, The Boy Who Brought the Snow and The Girl and the Mermaid.

The Famishing Vanishing Mahoosive Mammoth, illustrated by Leigh Hodgkinson, was published by Bloomsbury Children’s Books as a 32-page ebook on 14 July 2016. The rhyming picture book centres on a hairy mammoth with a large appetite and his friend Bug.

Princess Swashbuckle, illustrated by Deborah Allwright, was published by Bloomsbury Children’s Books as a 32-page paperback on 9 August 2018. The story follows a frog princess who becomes a pirate captain and discovers treasure in an unexpected place.

The Heart of a Giant, illustrated by Anna Wilson, was published by Bloomsbury Children’s Books as a 32-page paperback on 13 April 2023. The Boy Who Brought the Snow, also illustrated by Anna Wilson, was published by Bloomsbury Children’s Books as a 32-page paperback on 12 October 2023.
