Graham Burgess biography

Graham Burgess is a British chess player, author and editor. He became a FIDE Master at the age of twenty and has written extensively on chess strategy and openings.

He has authored or edited more than twenty-five books on chess, including The Mammoth Book of Chess (1997), which won the British Chess Federation Book of the Year award. His works cover a wide range of topics, from introductory guides for beginners to advanced opening theory.

The Mammoth Book of Chess won the British Chess Federation Book of the Year award in 1997.
