Recommended reading books for primary & secondary aged children in the UK
Eva Lindström is a Swedish author and illustrator of children’s books. She studied at the art school Konstfack in Stockholm and began her career as a comic artist before moving into picture books.
Her books often combine understated humour with expressive illustrations, exploring everyday situations and relationships. Titles translated into English include My Dog Mouse (2017), Everyone Walks Away (2019) and The Bridge (2021). She has also collaborated with other Swedish writers and illustrators on children’s projects.
Lindström received the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award in 2022 for her contribution to children’s literature.
