Elizabeth Dowsett biography

Elizabeth Dowsett is a British author and editor of children’s books, particularly non-fiction titles and licensed publications. She has written activity books, encyclopedias and guides for major publishers, often linked to well-known entertainment brands.

Her work includes titles for DK such as LEGO Star Wars Character Encyclopedia (2011) and LEGO Harry Potter Building the Magical World (2011). She has also contributed to children’s reference books covering science, history and popular culture.

Dowsett’s books are published internationally and widely used by young readers interested in film, games and construction toys. LEGO Star Wars Character Encyclopedia was published by DK in 2011.
