Eleonora Marton biography

Eleonora Marton is an illustrator and author known for her distinctive visual style and engaging children’s books. Originally from Italy, she studied at the University of Venice before moving to London, where she continued her creative work. Marton’s illustrations are characterised by bold colours and playful compositions, often created using a combination of drawing, painting, and printmaking techniques.

Her debut children’s book, DIY ABC, was published by Cicada Books in 2016. The book presents the alphabet through a series of creative and interactive activities, encouraging young readers to explore letters in a hands-on way. Marton’s work has also appeared in a range of editorial and commercial projects, including collaborations with cultural institutions and brands.

In 2018, she published Take a Look, If You Dare with Cicada Books, a title that invites children to engage with visual puzzles and surprises. Marton’s books are noted for their emphasis on creativity and participation, reflecting her background in both fine art and design.
