David Antram biography

David Antram is a British illustrator known for his work on children’s non-fiction books. He trained at Eastbourne College of Art and began his career as an artist and designer before moving into illustration. Antram is particularly recognised for his contributions to the You Wouldn’t Want To Be series, published by Franklin Watts, where he provided detailed and engaging illustrations that support historical and educational content for young readers. His illustrations are noted for their clarity and ability to convey complex information in an accessible manner. Among his published works is You Wouldn’t Want To Be an Ancient Egyptian Mummy!, illustrated for Franklin Watts in 2000.
