Children’s book news for April 2026: Michael Rosen wins the Hans Christian Andersen Award, CLiPPA and UKLA shortlists arrive, and Puffin launches its new picture book list, Puffin Studio.
Recommended reading books for primary & secondary aged children in the UK
Daniela Jaglenka Terrazzini is a children’s book illustrator. She studied fine art in Milan and moved to London in 1999 to study photography at the London College of Printing.
Terrazzini has illustrated picture books including The Seeing Stick by Jane Yolen and Animals Marco Polo Saw by Sandra Markle.
Her children’s publishing credits also include illustrations for Ben Miller’s fiction, including The Night I Met Father Christmas and The Day I Fell Into a Fairytale, and for Maggie O’Farrell’s picture books Where Snow Angels Go and The Boy Who Lost His Spark.
She joined The Artworks Illustration Agency in 2005.
