Cori Doerrfeld is an American author and illustrator known for her work in children’s literature. She studied at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, where she earned a degree in illustration. Doerrfeld has written and illustrated several picture books, often exploring themes of empathy, kindness, and emotional resilience.
Among her notable works is The Rabbit Listened, published by Dial Books for Young Readers in 2018. This picture book has been recognised for its sensitive portrayal of grief and support, and it has been widely used in educational and therapeutic settings. Doerrfeld has also illustrated books for other authors, contributing her distinctive style to a range of projects.
