Christopher Harrisson biography
Christopher Harrisson is a writer, artist and animator in the UK. He is based in Bristol.
His book Surviving Vesuvius: A Lucky Escape From the Tragic Fate of Ancient Pompeii was published in February 2025 by Wide Eyed Editions / Quarto. The non-fiction narrative is based on the letters of Pliny the Younger and describes the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79.
The book has 80 pages and includes a glossary and timeline.
