Chen Jiatong is a Chinese author best known for his children’s fantasy series, The White Fox. The series, originally published in China, follows the adventures of a young fox named Dilah as he embarks on a quest to become human. The first book in the series, The White Fox, was published in English by Chicken House in 2019. Subsequent titles in the series include The White Fox: Dilah and the Moon Stone and The White Fox: Dilah and the Pearl of Life.

Chen Jiatong’s work has achieved significant popularity in China, with The White Fox series selling over two million copies in its original language. The books have been translated into several languages, including English, broadening their international readership. The series is noted for its imaginative world-building and animal characters.

Chen Jiatong has received recognition in China for his contributions to children’s literature. The White Fox series was shortlisted for the 2020 UK’s Children’s Book Award in the Books for Younger Readers category.
