Recommended reading books for primary & secondary aged children in the UK
Carolina Búzio was born and raised in Portugal and studied Communication Design at the Fine-Arts University of Porto. During a year abroad at MOME in Budapest, she published her first children’s book, Gato das Botas.
She works as a freelance illustrator, animator and creator of character-led artwork.
Her board-book work includes the interactive Let’s Go Home series for young children. Let’s Go Home, Baby Shark is a 10-page board book published on 7 May 2024, and Let’s Go Home, Baby Bunny is a 10-page board book published on 3 December 2024.
Carolina Búzio is also the illustrator of Babies Can Sleep Anywhere, a 32-page picture book written by Lisa Wheeler and published in hardcover on 5 September 2017.
