Carl Laferton is a British author and publisher known for his contributions to Christian children’s literature. He serves as Executive Vice President of Publishing at The Good Book Company. Laferton has written several books for children, including The Garden, the Curtain and the Cross, which is part of the “Tales That Tell the Truth” series. This book was awarded the 2017 Christian Book of the Year by the Association of Christian Publishers.
Other works by Laferton include The God Contest and The Garden, the Curtain and the Cross Colouring and Activity Book. He has also authored resources for adults, such as Original Jesus and Promised Land: Living in the Light of the Future. Laferton’s books are published by The Good Book Company and have been translated into multiple languages.
In 2017, The Garden, the Curtain and the Cross received the Christian Resources Together Children’s Book of the Year award.
