C.C. Harrington is a British author whose debut novel, Wildoak, was published by Scholastic in 2022. The book is set in 1963 Cornwall and follows the story of a young girl and a snow leopard cub. Wildoak won the 2023 Schneider Family Book Award for Middle Grade, presented by the American Library Association. The novel has also been recognised as a Junior Library Guild Gold Standard Selection. Harrington’s work is published under the name C.C. Harrington, and Wildoak is her first published book for children.
