Bei Lynn biography

Bei Lynn is a Taiwanese author and illustrator known for her contributions to children’s literature. She has published numerous picture books and graphic novels, with her work often characterised by imaginative storytelling and distinctive illustration. Lynn’s books include Bibbit Jumps, which was translated into English and published by Gecko Press in 2019. The book was originally published in Chinese and has received international attention.

Bei Lynn has received several awards for her work. She won the Hsin Yi Picture Book Award in Taiwan and has been recognised by the Golden Tripod Awards, which honour excellence in publishing. Her illustrations have been exhibited internationally, including at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair.

In 2023, Bei Lynn was shortlisted for the Yoto Carnegie Medal for Illustration for Bibbit Jumps. Her books have been translated into multiple languages, expanding her readership beyond Taiwan. Lynn continues to be recognised for her artistic achievements and contributions to children’s literature.
