Ari Berk is an American author and academic known for his work in children’s and young adult literature. He has a background in folklore and mythology, which heavily influences his writing. Berk holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies from the University of Arizona.

He has authored several books, including the Undertaken Trilogy, which consists of Death Watch (2011), Mistle Child (2013), and Lych Way (2014). These novels explore themes of life, death, and the supernatural, drawing on Berk’s expertise in folklore.
