Anna Terreros‑Martin is a British children’s author and illustrator who combines her passion for wildlife with visual storytelling. She graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a first-class degree in Illustration in 2017, followed by a Master’s in Children’s Book Illustration from Cambridge School of Art in 2019.
Her debut picture book as both author and illustrator, The Friendly Mammoth, was published in the UK by David Fickling Books in 2022. She also illustrated titles including When Daddy Works from Home and When Mummy Works from Home (both 2020), as well as Can You See the Stars Tonight? and Group Hug!.
Anna’s illustration style is characterised by vibrant, nature-inspired artwork intended to encourage young readers to engage with wildlife and the outdoors. Alongside publishing, she supports conservation themes through school visits, workshops and wildlife-related creative activities.
Her clients include David Fickling Books, Little Tiger Press and the British Trust for Ornithology. She was highly commended in the 2019 Macmillan Prize for Illustration and exhibits regularly, including at the D&AD New Blood Festival and Sheffield Institute of Arts Degree Show.
The most recent milestone in her career is the publication of The Friendly Mammoth in 2022.
