Anna Fienberg writes children’s and young adult books. She grew up in a house filled with books, began writing stories when she was eight, and studied psychology before working as an editor for School Magazine, where her work included reviews, articles, stories and plays.
Her Tashi books were written with Barbara Fienberg. Tashi was published in 1995, followed by Tashi and the Giants in 1996, Tashi and the Ghosts in 1997 and Tashi and the Genie in 1998.
The Tashi series is a 16-book series by Anna Fienberg and Barbara Fienberg. Kim Gamble illustrated several Tashi titles, including The Big Big Big Book of Tashi, Tashi and the Giants, Tashi and the Genie, Tashi and the Ghosts and Tashi and the Dancing Shoes.
Her books also include Borrowed Light, published in 1999, The Big Big Big Book of Tashi, published in 2001, The Great Big Enormous Book of Tashi, published in 2010, and Picasso and the Greatest Show on Earth, a middle-grade novel published in 2023.
