Adam Ming is a children’s book illustrator. Publisher and agency biographies describe him as a Malaysian illustrator who grew up on Penang Island.
Hachette’s contributor biography states that he began illustrating in 2001, producing artwork for a monthly column in Malaysia Airlines Magazine. The same publisher biography and Bloomsbury’s author biography credit him with previously working as a creative director on apps, including Zapzapmath.
In children’s publishing, Ming illustrated Does a Bear Wash its Hair?: Animals eat, sleep and poo, just like you! by Moira Butterfield, published by Bloomsbury Children’s Books on 9 May 2024 (ISBN 9781526647085). He also illustrated Leigh Hodgkinson’s picture book Once Upon a Big Bad Wolf, published by Farshore on 1 August 2024 (ISBN 9780008526238).
Ming illustrated A First Book of Bugs: with 30 poems about insects and minibeasts by Simon Mole, published by Walker Books on 14 August 2025 (ISBN 9781529507546).
