Our review:

Willow has had a terrible year – surely it can’t get any worse? That is, until one fateful, drunken evening when she wakes up not just with a headache, but dead – in Asphodel, home of the devil.

Despite her shortcomings, including a viciously short temper, Willow believes she’s been sorted into the wrong part of the afterlife. To sort out the misunderstanding, there’s only one person to complain to: the devil himself, Sath. Sath quickly offers Willow a way back to the land of the living, but makes it clear it will not be an easy – or quick – process.

Willow is forced to take on seven challenges, one for each of the deadly sins, where her self-control will be tested to the limit. Despite promising to be on her side, Sath presents numerous temptations during – and after – the trials. Over time, Willow forms a friendship, and something much more tempting, with Sath, and begins to reconsider her plans to leave Asphodel.

A Match Made in Hell is a slow-burn romantasy that combines demon-slaying with lusting after the bad boy. It will appeal to fans of Netflix’s Lucifer and A Court of Thorns and Roses.
