Yinon Ptahia is an illustrator of children’s picture books. Ptahia illustrated Erica Lyons’s Saliman and the Memory Stone, published on 7 May 2024, a story about a Jewish boy leaving Yemen for Jerusalem in 1881. Ptahia also illustrated Tami Lehman-Wilzig’s The Henna Helper, published on 28 October 2025, about a girl discovering her family’s Yemenite pre-wedding henna tradition. In February 2026, Na’ima’s Shavuot Eve by Rinat Hadad Siegel, illustrated by Ptahia and set in the Jewish community of Iraq in the 1940s, was scheduled for publication in spring 2027.
