Susie Brooks is a British author and editor known for her work in children’s non-fiction and picture books. She has written and edited numerous titles across a range of subjects, including art, science, history, and emotional wellbeing. Brooks studied at Edinburgh University, where she focused on art history, which has influenced her approach to writing and creating books for young readers.

Brooks has worked in publishing for over two decades, both as an editor and as an author. Her books often aim to make complex topics accessible and engaging for children. Notable titles include My First Book of Relativity, My First Book of Quantum Physics, and What Makes Me Me?.
