Sue Wallman is a British author known for her psychological thrillers for young adults. She began her writing career after working as a magazine journalist and later as a school librarian. Wallman’s debut novel, Lying About Last Summer, was published by Scholastic in 2016. The book was selected for the 2016 WHSmith Zoella Book Club.
Following her debut, Wallman published several more YA thrillers with Scholastic, including See How They Lie (2017), Your Turn to Die (2018), Dead Popular (2019), and I Know You Did It (2021). Her novels often explore themes of secrets, trust, and the complexities of teenage relationships.
Wallman’s work has been recognised within the UK young adult fiction community. Lying About Last Summer was shortlisted for the 2017 Worcestershire Teen Book Award. Her books are frequently used in schools and libraries, and she has participated in events and workshops for young readers.
In 2021, Sue Wallman published I Know You Did It with Scholastic.
