Stephen Mangan biography

Stephen Mangan is a British actor, author, and presenter. He is known for his work in television, theatre, and as a children’s author. Mangan studied at Cambridge University and trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA).

In addition to his acting career, Mangan has written several children’s books, often collaborating with illustrator Anita Mangan. His debut children’s novel, Escape the Rooms, was published by Scholastic in 2021. The book is an adventure story aimed at middle-grade readers and features illustrations by Anita Mangan. Their second book, The Fart That Changed the World, was published by Scholastic in 2022. This book combines humour and history, and is also illustrated by Anita Mangan.
