Stella Tarakson is an Australian author who writes for children and young readers. She has written both fiction and non-fiction, with her work spanning a range of topics and genres. Tarakson is the author of the Mythic Beasts series, which introduces young readers to creatures from Greek mythology. She is also known for the Jasper Zammit (Soccer Legend) series, co-authored with soccer player Johnny Warren, which follows the adventures of a young football enthusiast.
In addition to her fiction, Tarakson has written several non-fiction titles for children, covering subjects such as history, science, and social issues. Her books aim to engage young readers with accessible language and informative content. Tarakson’s work has been published by Scholastic Australia and other established publishers.
Among her notable publications is Greek Legends: The Labyrinth of Lost Souls, released by Scholastic Australia in 2017.
