Siren Knight biography

Siren Knight is a writer and artist who writes fiction for teenagers and young adults. She holds an MA in creative writing and has worked as a GCSE tutor and English Lead. Knight has taken part in the BookTrust Represents community and is one of the children’s authors supported through the GLL Literary Foundation programme.

Her debut teen novel, Princess (Apparently), was developed through a collaboration between Usborne and the inclusive children’s fiction studio Storymix. Usborne acquired world rights to the novel from Jasmine Richards at Storymix in 2025.

Princess (Apparently) follows Della, a London teenager whose protest video goes viral. An unexpected invitation takes her to a Caribbean palace, where she encounters a royal family, a complicated love triangle and secrets concerning her own connection to the monarchy. Usborne publishes the novel in the UK on 13 August 2026.
