Rebecca June biography

Rebecca June is a translator, storyteller, and writer for children. Her background includes studying Peace Culture at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, which informs her focus on social justice and civic engagement in works for young readers.

Her nonfiction picture book People Power: Peaceful Protests that Changed the World, illustrated by Ximo Abadía, introduces landmark movements and the people behind them in an accessible format for children. She has also authored Woman Power: Mujeres que han cambiado el mundo, highlighting women whose actions shaped history.
