Nick Fisher (1959–November 2022) was a British television scriptwriter, journalist and angler. He won a BAFTA Children’s Award in 2006 for work on The Giblet Boys.
Fisher appeared on screen with Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and co-authored The River Cottage Fish Book. He also created and presented fishing programmes for television and radio.
His books include Sea Fishing: River Cottage Handbook No. 6 and a range of non-fiction titles for young people such as Living with a Willy and Your Pocket Guide to Sex. He also wrote fiction, including the novel Pot Luck.
In 2007 he and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall won the André Simon Memorial Award for The River Cottage Fish Book.
