Nadia Hasan biography

Nadia Hasan is a writer whose work includes poetry, fiction and children’s nonfiction. She has also written paranormal fiction under the name N.J. Ember. Her first book was From the Cafe and Beyond: A Collection of Poems and Other Writings, published in 2012. Her work has also appeared in The Mirror News, The Michigan Ave. Creative Arts Journal and CuriosityQuills.com.

Hasan has worked as an elected leader, community organiser, human resources professional and former educator. In 2023 she published A Kids Book About Being Muslim. That book was published on 26 April 2023.
