Michelle Robinson is a British author known for her picture books for children. Before becoming a writer, she worked in advertising as a copywriter. Robinson has written numerous books, often collaborating with illustrators such as Nick East, Tom Knight, and Rosalind Beardshaw.
Her works include the popular series featuring the character Goodnight Spaceman, illustrated by Nick East, and the Ten Fat Sausages picture book, illustrated by Tor Freeman. Robinson’s stories are recognised for their humour and engaging storytelling, appealing to young readers and families.
Michelle Robinson’s books have been published by several UK publishers, including Puffin and Andersen Press. She has also written titles such as There’s a Lion in My Cornflakes, illustrated by Jim Field, and How to Wash a Woolly Mammoth, illustrated by Kate Hindley.
In 2017, her book Goodnight Spaceman, illustrated by Nick East, was chosen as a CBeebies Bedtime Story.
