Megan Clawson biography

Megan Clawson is a British author of romance fiction for adults and young adults. Raised in Boston, Lincolnshire, she moved to London in 2018 to study English with Film at King’s College London. Her father was a Yeoman Warder, or Beefeater, and Clawson lived inside the Tower of London for several years, an experience that provided the setting and background for some of her early fiction.

Clawson’s debut novel, Falling Hard for the Royal Guard, was published by Avon in 2023. Set around the Tower of London, it follows Maggie Moore and her encounter with royal guard Freddie. She followed it with Love at First Knight in 2024 and Kilted Lovers in 2025. Her fourth adult romance, Big Apple Farm, was published by Avon in June 2026.

Clawson subsequently moved into young adult fiction with the Second Chance Farm series for Electric Monkey, an imprint of Farshore. The first book, The Fall I Fell, is a coming-of-age romance about Ava Matthews, who returns to her grandparents’ farm and is reunited with Jacob, her childhood best friend and first love. Electric Monkey acquired two novels in the series in 2026.

The Fall I Fell is scheduled for publication by Electric Monkey on 24 September 2026.
