Maggie Li biography

Maggie Li is a children’s author and illustrator known for her engaging non-fiction books. She studied illustration at Central Saint Martins in London. After graduating, she worked as an art director at the science and nature magazine Okido.

Li’s work often explores science and the natural world, making complex topics accessible to young readers. She has both written and illustrated several books, including Bug Detective, Big City Explorer, and Little Explorers: My Amazing Body. Her illustrations are characterised by clear, colourful visuals that support learning and curiosity.

Her books have been published by Pavilion Children’s Books and Templar Publishing. In 2021, Maggie Li published We Love Bees: A Lift-the-Flap Book with Pavilion Children’s Books.
