Lucia Vinti biography

Lucia Vinti is a British illustrator and author known for her work in children’s books and editorial illustration. She studied Illustration at Norwich University of the Arts. Vinti’s illustration style is characterised by its use of bold colours and playful, expressive characters.

Her debut picture book as both author and illustrator, London is the Best City in the World, was published by Walker Books in 2023. The book explores the diversity and vibrancy of London through the eyes of a young protagonist, celebrating the city’s people, places, and everyday life.

In addition to her author-illustrator work, Vinti has illustrated for a range of clients, including The Guardian, The Washington Post, and Penguin Random House. She has also contributed illustrations to educational resources and campaigns.
