Lora Beth Johnson biography

Lora Beth Johnson is an author of young adult science fiction, fantasy and thriller fiction. Her books include Goddess in the Machine, Devil in the Device and Hell to Pay.

Goddess in the Machine follows Andra, a teenage girl who wakes from cryonic sleep 1,000 years later than planned. The sequel, Devil in the Device, continues the story of Andra, Zhade and the world of Eerensed.

Johnson teaches college English and is represented by Victoria Marini at Irene Goodman Literary Agency.

Hell to Pay is a YA fantasy heist novel about Elle Fields, a teenage con artist from a family of thieves who break into the Afterlife to steal secrets and magic from the dead. The US edition is published by G.P. Putnam’s Sons Books for Young Readers, and the UK paperback edition is published by Hot Key Books.
