Lisa Mead biography

Lisa Mead (FRSA) is the Artistic Director and Chief Executive Officer of Apples and Snakes, a performance poetry organisation. She has also been listed as Company Secretary for Apples and Snakes in its statutory accounts.

Earlier in her career, Mead was described as an education and training manager at Apples and Snakes in a published paper on learning styles and creativity.

In February 2026, Mead was announced as one of the judges for the Centre for Literacy in Primary Education Poetry Award (CLiPPA) 2026.
