Kevin Tsang biography

Kevin Tsang is a children’s author known for his collaborative work with his wife, Katie Tsang. Together, they have written several series for young readers. Kevin Tsang was born in Copenhagen and grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. He later moved to the United Kingdom, where he pursued further studies.

Kevin and Katie Tsang co-authored the Sam Wu Is Not Afraid series, which follows the adventures of a young boy named Sam Wu as he faces various fears and challenges. The first book in the series, Sam Wu Is Not Afraid of Ghosts, was published by Egmont in 2018. The series has been noted for its humour and accessible storytelling, and it is aimed at early readers.

The Tsangs have also written the Dragon Realm series, which began with Dragon Mountain in 2020, published by Simon & Schuster Children’s Books. This fantasy adventure series centres on a group of children who discover dragons and embark on quests that test their courage and friendship. The series includes several sequels, such as Dragon Legend and Dragon City.

In addition to his collaborative work, Kevin Tsang has contributed to anthologies and participated in events promoting children’s literature. He and Katie Tsang have been involved in school visits and literary festivals, engaging with young readers and educators.

In 2020, Dragon Mountain was published by Simon & Schuster Children’s Books, marking the start of the Dragon Realm series.
